In support of our friends at the Khmer Student Association in Kansai, Japan, we are helping to raise money for a Otakutla Primary School in rural Cambodia. For more information about how to participate, through purchasing Yogascapes in Japan pens, please click here. The black ink, ball-point pens are made with sustainable bamboo, and have Yogascapes in Japan printed in English and Japanese. Each order receives 3 complimentary Yogascapes stickers! 10 percent of proceeds from each pen will be donated to Project Hope, which provides support to Otakutla Primary School. The goal for 2019 is to raise usd10,000. This will cover the construction costs associated with erecting a new building that will provide another classroom and library. Proceeds will also go toward providing students with school uniforms and essential learning materials.
Also,
The cost of conducting research and maintaining equipment is an ongoing issue. While I am very grateful to JSPS for the modest research funding through fellowship, it falls short, because the cost of conducting research is quite high.
If you feel inspired to get behind this project, please consider donating to the Go Fund Me account that has been set up under the registered non-profit trust I established in 2006 in Australia called, Hope for a Generation Trust
(Australian Business Number - 18 314 279 614).
